Easy enough, it begins with a conversation during which I get to know more about you, your business, and your goals. Not everyone is ready to begin the sale process right away, and for those more comfortable with a longer time line, I can outline the next steps to take in order to feel prepared.

Preparation
When you’re confident New South is the best resource to guide you through this process, I’ll put my experience to work and begin an in-depth review of your company in relation to its industry and broader trends in the marketplace. Throughout this assessment, I’ll be available to discuss strategy, translate financial matters in a way that’s easy to understand, and provide perspective on key decisions.
Presentation
I’ll then create a collection of marketing materials that best represent the value of your company and share them with relevant parties within a community of buyers and private-equity firms eager to acquire attractive businesses.
Selection
My primary focus at this stage is to generate competitive interest in your business, collecting multiple letters of intent so you’re in a position to choose the right buyer.
Negotiation
Once we’ve selected a buyer, we’ll enter the due-diligence stage, during which I’ll continue to advocate for the value of your company and negotiate on your behalf to secure a successful closing.
